Salt Lake County Health Department
Individuals required to obtain food handlers training in Salt Lake County have the option of either attending the SLC Food Handlers Permit course or, if offered at their restaurant, participating in a restaurant based training program which has been approved by the SLC Health Department. Not obtaining the required permit in a timely fashion leaves the restaurant vulnerable. With training now available online, any restaurant can notify the SL Health Department that they are utilizing the approved online course. User information is tracked by location, so food service establishments have documentation readily available.
Any restaurant location wishing to take advantage of the online option, should contact CourtesyTraining to begin using this training.
The course is one hour long, a Flash movie and includes audio, on-screen text, illustrations, interactive games and learning activities, and the certification test. It allows users to be more engaged in the course, while reinforcing learning so essential information is retained. User purchases the course online for $10.00. For more information or a demo, contact info@courtesytraining.com or call 801 805-4679.
