COURTESYTRAINING TO OFFER
IMPROVED TRAINING PROGRAM TO RUBIOS
The new online training will be part of a blended-training approach at Rubio’s. Rubio’s will utilize CourtesyTraining’s Learning Management System (LMS) to deliver online learning and testing to provide a stimulating and interactive training experience which can be tracked. This training will be available to employees anytime, anywhere, and will synchronize training efforts in different locations across the nation. Rubio’s will be utilizing the Learning Content Management System (LCMS) to build their proprietary courseware.
CourtesyTraining’s LMS is expected to help Rubio’s in a number of ways. Training will be more consistent, more accessible, and more flexible, as updates can be accomplished system wide in read time. Online training offers new ways to engage the trainee and increase retention of information. Use of the LMS will bring down training costs associated with turnover, increase training quality, and add to the guest’s experience as they interact with the employees. Providing the ability to integrate tracking of both online and on-site training, the LMS will greatly simplify the challenging task of training new team members.

About Rubio’s Fresh Mexican Grill
Rubio’s Fresh Mexican Grill started on a beach in Baja the day Ralph Rubio had his first taste of a fish taco. Bringing the idea back to San Diego, several years later, Ralph and his father opened the first Rubio’s at Mission Beach in 1983. Since then, over 50 million fish tacos have been sold, and Rubio’s has continued to expand to include more unique dishes in over 160 locations.
