Raptivity is a system providing games, learning activities, simulations, graphs, etc. to improve learning and retention. These interactivities are simple to build, using a wizard that guides you through the process from start to finish. The files are published in Flash format, making them easy to integrate into your courses using the CourtesyTraining content management system. (7/9/2007) CourtesyTraining announced today that it has teamed up with the Provo Marriott Hotel to offer the hotel’s in-house restaurant an online training platform for improving employee training and service delivery. This training will be phased in to all their restaurant employees over the next month, starting with management. For the full story, click here.
(4/2007) In June of 2006, CourtesyTraining was awarded a post-Hurricane Katrina training grant through the Region 1 Work Force Partnership, utilizing funding of the Workforce Investment Act and National Emergency Grant. Before the funding expired in April of 2007, CourtesyTraining had participated in the training of over 750 individuals in the hospitality industry in the New Orleans area. CourtesyTraining was also instrumental in helping numerous participating food service establishments convert their existing training into an online, interactive format, which they have continued to utilize since the expiration of the grant.
CourtesyTraining was proud to be part of the recovery effort by providing these resources for training in New Orleans and the surrounding areas.
