CourtesyTraining has developed an online SAFE FOOD HANDLING course designed to be used by the hourly employee. It conforms to the same standards set by the Conference for Food Protection that are required for Food Protection Manager Certification, but provided in a more concise format. The current course covers:
Foodborne Illness
Personal Hygiene
Cleaning & Sanitizing
Time & Temperature Regulation
Serving, Cooling & Storage
Online assessment
SAFE FOOD HANDLING is currently available in English & Spanish.
This course is being utilized by a number of State and County Health Departments to provide mandated food handlers training (www.statefoodsafety.com) but is also an ideal way for individual operators in other areas to ensure their hourly employees have been educated in safe food handling practices.
